Despite the suspension of production in December last year, PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya has become one of the leaders in paying taxes to the state.
This is confirmed by a letter from the Chairman of the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Danylo Hetmantsev.
The company paid more than UAH 3 billion in taxes to the state budget in 2023.
All these results were achieved thanks to the people who work for the company. The specialists who repaired the well, made the booster compressor station work, and are working in good faith to ensure Ukraine's energy independence by producing natural gas.
The renewal of the special permit will allow the company to become a leader in tax payments in 2024.
As a reminder, the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal suspended natural gas production at the Sakhalin field on December 1, 2023.
The resumption of production will allow Ukrnaftoburinnya to provide the state with a resource, pay taxes and develop the industry.
