In general, gas production at the Sakhalin field amounted to 199.7 million m3 and oil and condensate production amounted to 18.9 thousand tons for 3 months of 2021.

In March 2021, the production volume of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya amounted to 59.1 million m3 of natural gas and 6.1 thousand tons of oil and condensate, which is 9% and 20% lower than in the same period of 2020, respectively.

"The previous year was a real test of strength for the oil and gas industry: a significant drop in global hydrocarbon prices amid the pandemic, a forced reduction in capital investment, and the cessation of drilling new wells. Of course, this had a negative impact on the dynamics of our production indicators. Fortunately, we now see positive trends both for the industry in general and for UNB in particular. In 2021, our company significantly strengthened its technical expertise, with experienced professionals in geology and petrophysics joining the team. We have resumed the drilling program and have already successfully completed well No. 22. UNB continues to implement investment projects aimed at further efficient development of the Sakhalin field,"

- commented Mykhailo Bakunenko, Chairman of the Board of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya.
