In total, gas production at the Sakhalin field for 6 months of 2021 amounted to 404.9 million cubic meters, and oil/condensate production - 40.5 thousand tons.

The production volume of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya in June 2021 amounted to 59.8 million cubic meters of natural gas and 6.8 thousand tons of oil/condensate, which is 2% and 10% higher than in the same period of 2020, respectively.

"Implementation of plans to maintain and increase production levels requires time and considerable effort, as UNB operates only one oil and gas field, and it is at the stage of production decline. We have significantly strengthened the team in terms of geological and technical expertise, and are implementing a number of projects at our field. The resumption of the drilling program this year and the development of a new well is already a huge success, given the difficult economic conditions in which we operated throughout last year. At this stage, we are primarily focused on production support projects, but we are also actively considering various investment opportunities to expand our production geography beyond the Sakhalin field."

- commented on the results Mykhailo Bakunenko, Chairman of the Board of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya.
