This year, Ukrainians are celebrating Christmas in the trenches and with arms in hand, to the sound of alarms and abroad, under occupation and on the liberated lands where our flag is flying again.
We continue to fight for our country. For the right to have our own language, traditions and identity. And we cherish the heritage of our ancestors even more. We cover the table with towels for dinner, prepare kutia and Christmas cake. We remember those who are no longer with us and pray that those we love will return home.
This year we make one wish for everyone. We believe that miracles happen on Christmas Eve. That peace and harmony will come to the Ukrainian land.
Merry Christmas and delicious kutia!
