The National Agency of Ukraine for Finding, Tracing and Management of Assets Derived from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) filed a cassation appeal against the decision of the Sixth Administrative Court of Appeal. Thus, the Agency upheld the position of PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya in the case of revocation of the special permit for subsoil use No. 6349 dated July 10, 2019, which caused interruption of the company's operations.
The revocation of the permit will lead to a decrease in revenues to the State Budget of Ukraine from the management of assets transferred to the Agency, ARMA assures. In addition, there is a risk of emergencies or disruptions in natural gas supply.
Earlier, PrJSC MC Ukrnaftoburinnya independently appealed to the Supreme Court to maintain natural gas production at the Sakhalin field and avoid crisis situations during the autumn and winter period.
We are grateful to ARMA's management and specialists for their consolidated position in protecting the state's interests. We look forward to the rule of law, common sense and a statesmanlike position.
